Elna Joins Care Forward: Roche, Doctolib & AP-HP’s Healthtech Accelerator at STATION F

Elna has been selected for Care Forward, a healthcare technology accelerator at STATION F in Paris built by Roche, Doctolib, and Hôtel-Dieu (AP-HP). The program has received over 250 applications, a record for a STATION F program, and has selected just 15 startups. Elna is the only company in the cohort with less than a year of existence.

What is Care Forward?

Care Forward is a six-month accelerator designed to solve a problem funding alone can't: getting healthtech solutions to actually work inside real clinical practice. The 15 selected startups receive intensive, tailored support to clear their biggest growth barriers and demonstrate measurable impact on the health system, the kind of support most pre-seed companies can't otherwise access.

The cohort spans some of healthcare's hardest problems: AI-assisted clinical decision-making, early diagnosis of rare diseases, oncology response prediction, neurodegenerative disease screening, and retinal care. In the program's own words, what ties the fifteen together is that all of them are ready to be tested in the real world. For a company built around getting real clinicians to trust and use AI at the point of care, that's the room we want to be in.

Who is behind Care Forward, and why it matters to Elna

Each partner brings something distinct to what we're building:

• Roche brings scientific and regulatory expertise from one of the world's largest healthcare companies, along with strategic mentoring on demonstrating clinical and medico-economic value.

• Doctolib, Europe's largest digital health platform, brings product, AI, and go-to-market mentorship grounded in what actually works inside European healthcare workflows.

• Hôtel-Dieu (AP-HP) opens access to clinical environments and healthcare experts across one of Europe's largest hospital networks, a chance to validate what we're building against real clinical settings.

Alongside a sponsored workspace at STATION F, the program connects us with specialized healthcare investors and the wider European HealthTech ecosystem: exactly the network a company building infrastructure for European hospitals needs.

Why was Elna selected as the youngest company in the cohort?

Being the youngest company selected matters more than it might sound. Care Forward is designed for startups with something real to test, not just an idea, so making the cut at under a year old is early, independent validation of what our organic clinician traction has already been telling us.

Elna was built international from day one. Before we had a go-to-market plan, we were already talking to clinicians in Italy and Spain, because building a clinical AI that actually understands different healthcare contexts means listening to more than one country from the start. That approach is why Elna now reaches clinicians organically across several countries. Care Forward gives us a foothold in France on a timeline we wouldn't have dared plan for ourselves.

What happens next

Over the next six months, Elna will work directly with Roche, Doctolib, and Hôtel-Dieu (AP-HP) to pressure-test our product against real clinical workflows, sharpen our regulatory and go-to-market strategy, and build relationships with healthcare investors across Europe, all from a sponsored workspace at STATION F in Paris.
